Monday 13 June 2016 Max Emmons and One More Time returned for their second visit to Griffin Park Jazz Club in 2016 with another varied set from their huge repertoire of Classic jazz with some surprises as well as more familiar sounds. As ever with their selections, we learned that many of the great standards of later years had their roots in 1920’s and 30’s original scores. Monday 13 April 2015 The wonderful Alley Cats Jazz Band played again last night at Griffin Park Jazz Club. Favourite tunes were Mood Indigo, Herbie Hancock’s Watermelon Man, Someday Sweetheart sung by Keithy, and the joyous latino beats of Brazil, demonstrating their great drum and bass rhythm section.
